This court-yard symbolizes the history of Caroline-Amalia Kaiserling whose house was famous for
conversaziones in Kant’s days. Caroline’s husband performed mission of the Russian Royal Authority
and their place was visited by Immanuil Kant, crown prince of the Russian Royalty Pavel Petrovich,
Dashkova, Frederic William II..
There is a fresco “Prussian root of the Russian Tree” on one of the wall. It is showing the
historical interweaving of Prussian and Russian noble families.
Quarter “Albreht” and “Caroline’s Yard” have internal passage through the yards “Mermaids’ lane”
with the entrance to the Pregolya River. There is a small sculpture of mermaid on the quay at
that place. There is a street of Mark, a fisherman from a legend who fall in love with a
mermaid unfortunately, between the quarter “Albreht’s Tower” and “Caroline’s Yard”
The function of the first floors is an amber retail. There are going to be offices, café
